Gift

I know.

It's probably too soon.

What was I thinking?

But I did it!

hehehe.

I made earrings for a friend.

(Despite the fact that I've only been doing this for a week)

But being the darling amazing friend that she is,

she put on the earrings right then and there!

And today she was wearing the other pair of earrings I made!

It's really a great feeling.

To see someone enjoy something you made.

Especially since I had fun making it, too!

I Heart Shinjuku

Shinjuku.

I love this place.

Even though it's unbelievably crowded,

almost impossible to get from one place to the other,

and sometimes it smells really really bad...I mean, REALLY bad...

but I really really love it here.

And I like to think the feeling is mutual.

First Try

So my friend introduced me to beads.

And wires.

And a couple of pliers.

Now I'm completely wrapped up in the world of jewelry making!

These earrings were my first try.

And I think they turned out pretty well.

I had tons of fun trying to figuring out what beads to use

or working out the details of the wires.

Seriously fun stuff.

Can't wait to start on the next one!

I'm having fun with my toy camera these days.

It's on my cellphone so I can take photos just about anywhere!

I really like how dreamy and warm the photos turn out.
